Project Burito - Teacher Evaluation System

1. No Tracking, No Banners

You may have noticed that Burito does not annoy you with a "Accept Cookies" pop-up. This is intentional. We believe in a clean, distraction-free educational environment.

We do not track you. We do not use third-party analytics (like Google Analytics), advertising pixels, or marketing trackers. Therefore, we do not require your consent.

2. What We Store

To make the application work, we only store strictly necessary technical data on your device (Local Storage or Session Cookies). This data is essential for:

  • Authentication: Keeping you logged in securely while you navigate.
  • Security: Preventing Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks.
  • Preferences: Temporarily saving your language choice (e.g., FR/EN).

3. Local Storage vs. Cookies

Instead of traditional cookies, Burito primarily uses Local Storage. This is a modern technology that allows us to save your session token directly in your browser.

Unlike tracking cookies, this data:

  • Never leaves your browser to go to third-party servers.
  • Is automatically cleared when you log out.
  • Is strictly invisible to other websites.

4. Managing Your Data

Since we do not use persistent tracking cookies, there is nothing to "opt-out" of. However, you can always clear your browser's Local Storage or cache through your browser settings if you wish to remove all traces of your session immediately.

5. Contact

If you have technical questions about how we handle session storage, please refer to our Privacy Policy or contact the administrator.
